About the Speaker

Paul Barker is the Anglican bishop for Jumbunna, Melbourne. He was Vicar of Holy Trinity Doncaster (1996-2009) and Archdeacon of Box Hill (2001-2009) while also a visiting Lecturer at Ridley College for 20 years. From 2009, he was based in Malaysia, teaching the Old Testament and Preaching in Seminari Theoloji Malaysia, as well as in various seminaries in India, Pakistan, Myanmar and Thailand. He was Asian Regional Coordinator for Langham Preaching and Langham Scholar Care, training preachers throughout Asia. He has written books on the Old Testament and preaching.
